State Testing (OSAS)
Each spring, 11th grade students test in Math and ELA, and Science. Students and families can practice taking these tests here

Though the federal government requires that 95% of enrolled students take these tests, students or families in Oregon can choose to opt out of OSAS Math and ELA tests. To “opt out” of OSAS science tests, families must submit a written exemption request on the basis of accommodating a student’s disability or religious beliefs.

National Honor Society Applications Open
National Honor Society (NHS) membership requires a substantial commitment of time for each member. Membership requirements include monthly meetings, 30 hours of community service (including participation in at least one group service activity) each semester, and maintenance of a 3.5 GPA. You must continue to meet all of these expectations for continued membership in NHS.

Selection for membership is by the NHS Faculty Council and is based on outstanding exhibition of  Scholarship, Character, Leadership, and Service.

To be considered for membership in NHS, candidates must:
  • Be a junior or senior at the beginning of school-year 2025-2026
  • Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50
  • Submit completed application ON TIME
  • During selection, the NHS Faculty Council carefully examines all materials submitted. References may be checked. The presentation of your materials is a factor in selection so please be neat, accurate, and grammatically correct.
