SENIOR EXPERIENCE
Attention Seniors. About half of you are required to complete a Senior Experience and attend a Senior Experience Showcase to complete your Personalized Learning requirement. If you are one of those students an email about this graduation requirement was sent to you this morning. Please check your email and let your counselor know if you have any questions.
INTERNSHIP
Juniors and seniors, test drive the career of your choice! Apply for a paid summer internship from Connected Lane County. Applications will be accepted between now and February 24th, but sometimes earlier applications have an advantage. Visit connectedlane.org or see Lori Sauter in the College and Career Center for more information.
SOCIOLOGY
Reminder to Juniors and Seniors, there is still time to sign-up for Sociology. You can take it as a regular elective or work harder and earn up to four 200-level college credits. This class looks great on college and job applications, and helps you understand culture, power, race, and class in new and interesting ways. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity! Make a counseling appointment to change your third or fourth period schedule.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Are you in IHS, NHS, or just interested in getting volunteer hours? On February 1st, South Eugene Theater is hosting Southern Oregon Theater Regionals! You can earn six or more volunteer hours this Saturday by signing up to help! There is no theater experience required, all are welcome! For more information, stop by the Drama Club meeting this Thursday! Hope to see you there!
INTRAMURAL
Attention all ballers: Intramural basketball is finally starting! This whole week, games will be played during lunch in the main gym, so make sure to swing by every day and watch the best teams in the school face off! We can’t wait to see you all there!
SCHEDULE CHANGES
Have you submitted a Schedule Change Request Form through your 4j google account? Check StudentVue and your email to discover the outcome of your request! If you don’t yet see a result, stop by the counseling office and ask Jessica to check the status of your form. Special Edition Drop-in Hours for Counseling will be held all today and tomorrow; check the sign outside counseling for details.
