SCHOLARSHIP

Money for College - Be in a science Expo, the Central Western Oregon Science Expo is at UO in February, come to room 411 next week at lunch Tuesday Through Friday to learn more. We have mentors ready and waiting! You could win $9000 a year renewable for up to 4 years to UO!!  

LACROSSE

Are you interested in playing Boys Lacrosse this spring? New players wanted - no experience necessary. Information meeting for current and new players Tuesday Dec 17 in Room 2 at 4 pm

JOURNALISM

Congratulations to South Eugene journalism students who placed at the this week’s Fall Media Day on-site reporting and photojournalism competitions:

• Basil Dracobly - Opinion Writing, Excellence
• Aria Lynn Skov - News Writing, 1st Runner-Up Overall

It’s more important now than ever for students to engage in understanding the events of the world around us, and a journalism education can build the skills to do this. Want to find out more? Talk to a journalism student or see Bobbie Willis during class hours in Room 3. 

PHILOSOPHY 

Philosophy club meets today and takes place every Thursday at lunch in Rm. 305. There is no pressure to be an expert on any of these subjects and we only encourage you to come into the club with a good attitude. We hope to see you there!

SUPPLY DRIVE

Next week Student Government and Feminist Student Union are accepting donations for school supplies as well as hygiene supplies.. The table will be located next to the Axe of Kindness table!

FUNDRAISER

On December 16th the swim team is hosting a fundraiser at Track Town pizza! 50% of house orders, to go orders, and gift-certificates will go towards the South swim team! When you go to support, make sure to tell them it’s for the swim team for the donation to count! We hope to see you there!
