CHESS CLUB

Join us for Chess Club every Wednesday during lunch in room 415L! All skill levels are welcome. Bring your strategic mind and let's play!

TUTORING 

We have peer tutors in the library waiting to help you with spanish, japanese, math, social studies, math in spanish, science and french.  Peer tutoring is every Wed after school in the library until 3:30.  Please drop-in and get help with your classwork!

FINANCIAL AID

Juniors and seniors! South is hosting a financial-aid webinar tonight at 7 pm. Learn about college financial aid including grants, loans, work study, and scholarships. Watch your school email for the link to join.

SCHOLARSHIP

Money for College - Be in a science Expo, the Central Western Oregon Science Expo is at UO in February, come to room 411 next week at lunch Tuesday Through Friday to learn more. We have mentors ready and waiting! You could win $9000 a year renewable for up to 4 years to UO!!  

SCHOLARSHIP

Seniors, a local scholarship competition that guarantees one South senior a $1,000 scholarship is underway. Check out the email you received Monday evening from Lori Sauter for more details.

FOOD DRIVE

Beebe’s 9th grade Axe class is partnering with EJL to do a hard and fast food drive these last few weeks before break! You can drop off food in decorated bins outside the main office or cafeteria. We are trying to get as many non-perishable food items as possible! Donate food today to help families during the holidays.

SUPPLY DRIVE 

Next week Student Government and Feminist Student Union are accepting donations for school supplies as well as hygiene supplies.. The table will be located next to the Axe of Kindness table!

FUNDRAISER 

On December 16th the swim team is hosting a fundraiser at Track Town pizza! 50% of horse orders, to go orders, and gift-certificates will go towards the South swim team! When you go to support, make sure to tell them it’s for the swim team for the donation to count! We hope to see you there!
